  • Kkaetnip Muchim(Korean seasoned perilla leaves) ingredients


- 40-50 fresh perilla leaves
- 1 red chilli pepper
- 1/2 onion
- 1/10 carrot
- 5 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 2 tablespoon sugar
- 2 tablespoon red pepper flakes (gochugaru)
- 2 tablespoon beef stock
- 1 tablespoon perilla oil

Step 1 : Wash all vegies and slice onions, peppers and carrot.

Step 2 : Add soy sauce, minced garlic, sugar, red pepper flakes, beef stock and perilla oil in a mixing bowl.
Step 3 : Add sliced onion, carrot and red chilli peppr. mix them well
Step 4 : Place the perilla leaves in stacks in a glass container(with a lid) which is little bigger than perilla leaves. Spread around 1 Tbsp worth of seasoning sauce on the perilla leaf. Repeat this process for every leaves for the rest of all leaves.
Step 5 : Take out an appropriate amount for one meal to dish and serve it.
